Welcome to SleepwearPlus.   I’m Marilyn Chambers and I have been big all my life.  Over the years I have looked all over the world for nightdresses that fit me, are comfortable and make me feel glamorous -  without much success.  

Even when you can get something to fit, most designs are just large uncomfortable versions of designs made for slim women, not what we big girls need at all! So we find ourselves sleeping in big old T-Shirts or "granny" nighties. Comfortable? Yes. Elegant and glamorous? Definitely not!

After years of listening to me grumbling, my husband finally said ,"Why don't you just design and make them yourself - other women will benefit too!" So I have taken up the challenge and now  I make elegant stretch satin night dresses for big women in a range of exotic and luxurious colours trimmed with beautiful, soft, French laces.  

I know big girls love to feel gorgeous but it is so hard to find sleepwear in larger sizes that’s not drab and boring therefore SleepwearPlus caters exclusively for Plus-sized women because we are so often neglected in beautiful nightwear. 

What’s more, SleepwearPlus nightgowns are designed especially to flow and feel comfortable. Whether you are tall or short, broad or curvy, these nighties will fit you or, if you prefer, can be custom made just for you. My range discretely covers upper arms and shoulders, drapes flatteringly over curves, allows for movement and feels soft and luxurious.

Another thing that has always bugged me is that so-called Plus size garments are shown on models who are definitely NOT big girls. My styles will always be displayed by models who are genuinely plus size people. 

My goal is to help women feel great - whatever their size or shape. No longer do we need to sacrifice style and grace for comfort.
